  The hosts were really friendly, our room was nice, the bathroom was large and there was extremely clean everywhere. The breakfast was very good and included lovely home made pastries. This is not a five star hotel, but you have all you need. Comfy bed, A/C, WiFi, balcony, perfect view of the vineyards and good breakfast. It ended in a tasting room with a exquisite view - Room with cute balcony and great view over vinyards and alps. Breakfast in the sun on the terrace with similar view. Dinner option in the same place, all local products, low price (25EUR for 4 starters, pasta, main and dessert). Quiet location, but only a very short drive away from Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco etc. Family-run business where everyone is keen to meet all your needs.

Once we got to the hotel, the owner Denise was there to welcome us personally with her frien - This exquisitely renovated castle provides every luxury and is a great base for exploring the beautiful Barolo wine country. Nonetheless, the high point for us was the food. Chef (and owner) Denise Pardini, whose resume includes at stint at Chez Panisse, has figureed out how to brighten traditional Piedmontese cuisine for the modern palette. Everything was delicious.
