The fiendliness, efficiency and elegance of the hotel staff; the paintings in the rooms and the general style of the furniture; the proximity to downtown yet being in a smart and quiet area of Milan. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff, central location, good breakfast and room service, very fairly priced for Junior Suite.Great breakfast selection, comfortable bed. The service and the kindness of the receptionist (in the morning) was a lot more than what i could have expected!!!.

Rooms were not prepared in the evening, which I would expect in a five-star hotel. The restaurant was not so inviting. The temperature in the room was consistently too hot (set at 26C!!)- and despite attempts to change the setting the central control system overrode efforts to reduce the temperature. Opening the window was a partial solution. Tiny rooms - but we actually liked it. Breakfast should improve. The air conditioning was a bit noisy and I couldn't find a way to turn it off. Strong heating, small rooms, nosoundproofing, Next room tv and phoneconversations were distracting. Nothing to do in hotel if it is raining outside. this is far away from 5 stars hotel. Looks more like 4 max.its sold as a 5 stars hotel while my room was definetly not close to any 5 stars considering the size of the bathroom and especially the shower ( tiny shower ) , the quality and choice of toiletteries provided.The small Tv was hanging from a wall support...no pay tv.bed linen among the cheapest cottons and minibar carrying a standard stock. The hotel is not up to a 5-star standard by any measure - tiny room and bathroom, poor quality food and choice for breakfast... the place badly needs renovation. the location is not really central.This is not 5 star worthy! Rooms are extremely old, badly furnished, no swimming pool or other facilities, no paytv, staff not friendly, ... . It would be ok as a Three star hotel, but from a five star you would expect way better service!. all the services, facilities very poor.
