I do not agree with any of the negative reviews on this absolutely magnificent hotel. You get what you pay for and maybe even more. The room was spacious, clean and very bright. The furniture is not the most fashionable in the world but it's a hotel you need to rest in, not have any parties nor anything. It had a tv, a shower, a bidet, a phone and a Wi-Fi connection. The breakfast was very satisfying, lots of quality products, freshly baked and delicious cakes, fresh fruit and a great variety o.

We disagreed about the bizarre paintings on the marble floors, I thought they spoil the effect, while my friend has found them acceptable. Very comfortable location: in front of castle there's Leonardo DaVinci's Lust supper. We walked to La Scala, the Duomo and all points of the historical center of Milan. No taxis or public transport is not necessary - all you need is within easy reach. the hotel is near the city center and the view from our room was amazing. the people at the reception are nice and helpful. the view into the inner courtyard is amazing!!. Excellent loacation , a few mins walk to the centre and close to Cadorna station . Breakfast was good and the view nice . I reccomend this hotel to everyone !. The location was great. The room was cleaned daily and staff were mainly nice. Although breakfast was the same daily it was great. Excellent breakfast, very helpful front desk. Location in the center of Milano quiet. Stayed in the hotel for just one day because it was close to Cadorna station. In this sense the location is very good - 5 minutes walk to Cadorna, from where u can directly reach Malpensa airport or Milano Forum, for example. Also, the famous Maria Grazzie with Last Supper by Da Vinci is just across the road. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony. The location of the hotel is good for Cadorna station and the Malpensa airport express. Two tramlines 16 and 27 take you direct to the centre, about 10 minutes. The room was standard buget size but on 2 levels which completely changed the ambience to the good. It was always spotlessly clean and fresh. Each men in the reception gave a different answer about it, in the upshott we have not got it. wifi is to pay extra. the walls are thin, so i could hear the people in the room under us talking all the time. The hotel used to be Monk monastery and orphanage , during the midnight we saw ghosts - monks walking thru the walls of our room , pretty scary but we kinda liked it :-). Not all employee were knowledgeable, but that the case in a lot of places. The staff. It wouldn´t hurt them to smile once in a while. Wen I find something I'll let you know! :). Bad smell in the room like caused by old refurbish, poor equipment (no teacups, spoons etc.), dark colors in the room. Weak shower. Room dark. Not enough power sockets. Slow lift long way from room. But otherwise there is nothing to bring me back there. It is Ok but nothing special. It was a little expensive for the amenities provided. No room service so would have liked tea making facility in the room. the staff at the reception was extremely unfriendly and cold and it really had a big impact on the staying. Lack of willingness in sorting out little things (.g.wifi) it is a big down side of this place. Paying wi-fi.. (and doesn't always work properly). All the receptionists were incredibly unfriendly. The bathroom is not very convenient. Everything else is satisfactory. The hotel is very disjointed with no obvious connections between various parts within a large building, quite impersonal. Municipal office feel to the whole place, a waste of a great building. No bar or restaurant that I could see when I asked a porter, a shrug. It would be nice if the hotel had a small bar in the reception area as there is nowhere to buy drinks (even water) in the hotel. very big and note full. Was not 100% glad with the furniture of the room (has that typical old smell). The staff did not represent the traditional Italian hospitality either. In the reception work very unkind people. The questions in English were answered with a long, angry burbling under the nose in italian and then shortly in english, unkind attitude to guests. Used towel in bathroom. Conforto da cama. Water was luke warm not hot or cold. Breakfast was average. Some staff were surly. TV was poor Water did not flow away from the showerbath. . The staff is simply "rude". Starting from the check-in at reception, until the check-out all staff was beyond rude, not helpful at all about anything.. Although mentioned my room was not renovated and I was very disappointed with the bathroom. Not a new hotel Needed to pay for wifi.
