1- The hotel is new and clean 2- The location of hotel is near Istria metro station which can be easily reached by central station by one metro change: Take line 3 (direction Comasina) and then change in ZARA station. Take line 5 (direction BIGNAMI) 3- The person in charge is called Carlo and is very friendly and helpful 4- There is very big restaurant near the Hotel and you can find everything you want 5- I had hair cut in the barber shop near hotel and I was happy with that :).
all reviews » Carlo was an outstanding host and we were delighted to receive his warm welcome on arrival. He has excellent English and was very friendly and helpful, showing us to our room and making sure we had a map and his recommendation for dinner. We loved dining at Tre Pini and the room was even better than pictured with a kitchenette. It's an easy bus ride from Milano Centrale or a short taxi ride. So glad that we decided to stay here. Great value and a great experience, too. The room is great, very neat and clean as it appears in the pictures. More than we could expect for this price. Would definitely recommend it either to groups of friends like our case or to families since the room we booked could accommodate up to five adults comfortably. The subway stop istria and bus stop is just 100m away! Extremely pleasant and helpful staff at reception gave us all the information we needed. We were very impressed with this accommodation. It was excellent. The family unit we had was of modern design, very well appointed and very functional. The 2 bedroomed apartment that we had was very clean. While being out of the town center its really close to the public communication - bus, tram and metro stops are less than 5 min away, BikeMi station, which i preferred, is 10 min away. A very new and very clean apartment ..you can still smell the newly painted walls...1 minute walk from the istiria subway and a direct bus to central station... 1- Carlo reminded me that I should check in before 8 pm and this put some pressure on me to be faster 2- They clean and gather the garbage every two days. Internet connection in the rooms was a little slow. Just a note: iron / ironing boards aren't provided in rooms. Also as it's Italy there's no kettle in the rooms too :). Nothing important to mention just tha lack of a hair dryer in the bathroom which caused some inconvenience to us being all girls with long hair! We also tried walking the distance to tha station centale and it is a 20 min walk only for keen walkers. Taking tha subway though is recommended especially when carrying luggage. The street noise - but we could actually only hear it in the bathroom and bedroom at the streetside when the window was open - no problem in the living room/kitchen. Nothing, loved it. Is not near to the center Not very clean under the beds. Walls and windows are quite noisy. There was no kettle (no tea and coffee). And we couldn't get iron from one of the receptionist. But next day we found out it was there. A tea kettle in the room would be nice though. I hope the staffs can clean the room everyday, not for two days. There is no sponge for the dishes. We had some issues with getting the right apartment we had booked. The hotel was fully booked on the day we arrived and we were given a studio instead of a one-bedroom apartment. The next dat we could move to an apartment however we didn't get another twin bed advertised on the web. There were problems sometimes with hot water. None. Wifi connection was not available in every part of the room. The beds were not the best I've ever slept on. They were pretty hard. need a kettle or coffee machine. A bit far from downtown but close to bus and metro. No kettle was available. The location was our only negative but it was close to a metro station. Could use some heat insulation from outside cold. Needed to change from tram to metro or metro line to metro line to get to centre. Lack of restaurants near the hotel so need to eat in city. Room needed some basics like w.u.l. Tea towel. A bit far from the center but very close to 2 metro stations. wifi was a little bit lacking on the third floor rest none. Shuttle (free) from station but after booking, received an email stated it was full. Should state so during booking. One main reason why we chose this apartment. Nothing. The internet connection in the room is weak, you cant use it. The location was a bit hard to find. We asked for a couple of sheets more but didn't get them till we left. Poor wifi inside our room, but good at the coridor. Cleaning material such as dishwasher agent can be provided. Noisy bedroom- take your earplugs. Not much equipment in the kitchen and the location is bit far from the city when you walk. A bit noisy. Not close to the city center. The Internet in the apartment had problems and we had to shower in cold water on both the days...imagine showering in cold water on a cold day when u have a whole day ahead....:(. Feels bad to write the above even though we had a good stay.... uncomfortable beds- rock hard.
