  Martano is a cozy little town, with no stress and very friendly people. We had a great base there for expoloring the surrounding areas. Salento is a beatiful region. Borgoterra was a great place to stay, with all the necessary amenities and yet totally different from other your usual hotels or B&B - it has a special feel to it as it is a small... what people say » castle. We also had a terrace which was a great plus. Breakfast was served in a nearby cafeteria. - Very beautiful room (a small flat actually) with all the comforts, and a balcony full of flowers. Decorated as if it was a real home. Ideal for those that wish to rest and spend some time to their accomodation except from getting out and sightseeing.

  everything! The apartment was elegant, extremely clean (they even make your bed every day), super friendly hosts, wonderful bathroom and shower. The kitchen was fully equipped. Just perfect if you want to visit the Salento and want to stay outside the main tourist cities in order to save some money.
