I'd say I fell in love with the sea after visiting Marina di Pisa! It's not a place for those who think that "a vacation at the seaside" is lying on a yellow sand beach. It's very far from that. But it's marvellous! & the family who owns l'albergo Manzi couldn't have chosen a better place for it. The sea view they promised us is great. The air

Calm environment.
Large terrace with amazing seaview (sunset).
The town was not too crowded as well as the beach.
Closeness of historical towns like Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Siena and other interesting places, e.g. Cinque Terre, Pietrasanta, Borgo A Mozzano.
