Hotel Griso is perfectly situated across the Lake from the lovely little town of Lecco. The rooms have the most wonderful view across the lake to the mountains. Great comfort and fantastic value for money. The staff are superb and we believe this is because the hotel manager is wonderful with his staff, creating a very happy work environment. Loved our 5 days there. Great restaurant upstairs.

No possibility to have a simple meal like a pasta or pizza for areasonable price in the hotel, you have to go to Lecco for this, drinksin the lounge bar where very expensive. Arguments about the price of the room. Late breakfasters, and late is already 08h30 at Griso, will have to do it with what is left-over...the word 're-fill' is not known ....At your booking do ask the location of your room, although most of the rooms do have a very nice terras on some of them there is 'no' sun shine for the whole day.. Also ask for aroom that is not located just under the breakfast room = very noisy from 07h00 O'clock.
