We loved Andreas. He's the most organized, warm, friendly, patient manager I've met during our 10 day trip to Italy. He would have no problem managing upscale hotels like the Ritz. What impressed me most is Maria, the owner of the guesthouse. She is unbelievably helpful even before I arrive! On my departure day, I went to Venice Biennale and almost missed my boat to the airport, but Maria personally took my luggage to the pier so that I did not have to go back to the guesthouse to get it! Everything else in the guesthouse is cozy family feel! BTW, if you fly to venice, the guesthouse is 4 mins walk to Ca'Rezzonico, an airport boat stop, so extremely convenient. All in all

The location is good. Take waterbus line 1 (towards Lido) or line 2 (towards S Marco) and get off at Accademia. Cross the bridge n pass the museum you will find a little bridge next to a cafe. You will see the signboard of Casa Arte.
