  Breakfast and only 2 or 3 m walking to San Marco - The hotel was charming, bright and full of character. We stayed in the Junior Suite which had a jacuzzi, a reasonably priced mini-bar, a flat screen TV and the room was decorated in a quintessentially Italian manner.   Maria at the front desk was amazing!!! So cute and sweet, she doesn't speak English yet you have no trouble understanding her. The location is pretty great and the ac is a huge plus, anyone would be impressed by the shower and it's multiple massaging jets on the side, some people mention hearing people on the street: true, however I had room 1 clo... what people say » sest to the front door and street and I barely noticed. If you want a true Venetian family owned hotel, go here. - It's hard to find decent prices in Venice for an ensuite room within walking distance from the train station. That said, Alloggi Sardegna was a very good option. Lady in reception couldn't speak english but we were able to understand her italian. She was very kind all times. Room and bathroom had good space. Breakfast was basic but with an excellent italian coffee -- served in our room every morning.
