  We loved il Gattopardo! It was in the perfect location for seeing the historical city. The B&B was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and the decor was great with wonderful charm. They gave us directions and advice on where to go and where to eat.   Right after the booking I got an e-mail from the staff, which welcomed my booking and gave basic info about the B&B. The B&B was easy to find, almost next to the Duomo. The B&B was on the second floor, with about 40 steps of stairs. The room with the external bathroom was basic with queen bed, TV, little table, minibar, chair, cupboard... what people say » . The room also accommodated an extra bed. The bathroom was about 5-6 metres away from the room, across the reception area. Mandy was very nice in th - Mandy and her staff were so very helpful. The beds were very comfortable (and large) for Europe - Actually the most comfortable we've slept in since beginning our European travels nearly a year ago. The location is excellent - a short walk from the train station and right next to the Duomo. It is an easy walk to most of the sites, and in the heart of the beautiful city.   We were impressed by maps and useful information of the city given after checking in at the hotel by a hotel staff. The hotel is few steps of walk to Duomo. To our knowledge, there aren't many public toilets available in Florence. So, we found it very convenient to go back and forth between the hotel and tourist attractions during the day in case... what people say » that we had to use toilet without waiting in the long line. Even though the breakfast isn't included, the unlimited amount of drinking water and cup - We were presently surprised to discover that there is a little kirchen in our room so we were able to prepare our favorite hot instant comfort food!
