  This hotel was fantastic! Do not listen to all the negative reviews and just try the hotel for yourself. The room was lovely and clean, the staff were great and the breakfast was excellent.   a lovely gentleman from reception desk greeted us when we arrived by coming downstairs and carrying our heavy luggage upstairs to second floor, then gave us a great overview of Venice and helped with directions and how to get around.   The staff were exremely friendly and helpful. The reception was open on a 24hr basis and so arriving at night was no problem. The room was comfortable and very clean and the bathroom brand new.
