  Hotel Cavour proved to be the perfect choice for our honeymoon. I decided on it after weeks of online searching and studying of comments made by guests and we were both thrilled with how it came out to be. It is one of the very few hotels where what you find when you get there is all that the site describes and even better. Everything was great but... what people say » especially worth mentioning are: location, breakfast, decoration, mini spa, roofgarden and service. The honeymoon offer has great value for money. - Our room was excellent. It was bright and pleasant with a lovely view. The front desk staff were also first rate. Every one of the several staff members there was terrifically helpful--from arranging for private car tours to recommending restaurants. Our stay in Florence was greatly enhanced by the well qualified and very kind staff.

  Its location was central to the train station, ideal for all site seeing. Hotel staff very helpful in obtaining any further info we required regarding train timetables, tour guides etc. Breakfast buffet was very lovely. - It was very comfortable and the staff all spoke english which was good as we do not speak Italian.   Everything about this hotel was excellent - it is both close to the train station and the city centre, with a range of restaurants nearby ( helpful when you arrive at 22.00 !). Staff were polite and helpful, and the quality of the room was superb - for example you get a little card each evening telling you the weather forcast, together with a coupl... what people say » e of sweets ! highly recommended - The staff was very attentive to our needs. They were more than happy to recommend a restaurant and make a reservation for us. The facilities were impeccible. The weight room was in great condition. Amongst the frenzy of tourists and residents, the hotel was a small oasis. We had all the privacy we could ask for, and yet we were blocks from the duomo and the city center.

  This hotel was really nice and quiet. The walk to downtown attractions wasn't too bad and the railway station was close by. We received a room upgrade when we arrived, which was a very nice surprise. Breakfast included free sparkling wine, which was a nice touch.   The Hotel is very nice. Although it is placed outside historical center, it is very suitable for those who travel by car. The Hotel is new, the rooms are well-designed and very clean.   We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Villa Tolomei. We had a junior suite with a fabulous view over the Tuscan countryside. Our room was vast and very luxurious. The breakfast was wonderful and varied so no one should be disappointed. You are in a 15th century Convent but everything has been tastefully renovated. The taxi's are frequent and staff will gladly call one, but don't be set on a price; - The hotel resort is a mix of both, renaissance and modern architecture. It is a wonderful jewel as a villa hotel resort. Beautiful high ceiling rooms with beautiful fresc, well designed for amalgamating both the old (restored professionnaly) and a sort of modern renaissance. Will definitely go back, the view and the Tuscany sunsets are unbelievable.
