were large by European standards and beautiful. Very clean, quiet,
comfortable and well priced. The manager of the day, Sebastian, was
beyond helpful and even came to get us when we got lost driving in
Florence - so the service was above excellent service. Also the
breakfasts were super and were very complete with eggs, bacon, fruit and
breads. I absolutely would stay there again!

It s best hotel choice we made in our trip to Italy. The location is not far from the city center. The room is very new, cozy and beautiful, every last detail is perfect. the breakfast buffet, in my opion, has a very high standard sellection of local products. The Locanda dei Guelfi proved to be a good choice for us and we enjoyed
our stay there. You never know quite what to expect even if you have
read the reviews before you go. We had no difficulty in finding the
hotel and the steps up to the third floor were not an issue for us
although I can see that it might be a problem for some. The location is
excellent although the area is quite busy but this was not a problem for
us. The room and facilities were very clean and the bed was very
comfortable.

From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and told about local restaurants and places to see. The room was wonderful - high ceilings , big comfortable bed and lovely decor.The room was big and spacious with a wonderful bathroom. Easy walking distance to the main attractions of Florence - the C 2 - small buses - stops close by if too tired to walk back to the hotel at the end of the day.Plenty of places to eat.
