    The location was very close to St Marks Square with wonderful restaurants and shops. Olga, was fantastic. The place was spotless and the breakfast was not your typical coffee and muffin. Olga served meat,cheese,yogurt, freshly squeezed juice, crackers croissants, espresso and cappuccino. I would recommend this place to anyone. - Friendly staff.... what people say » Very clean, comfortable, quiet room. Excellent location relative to sights and transportation. Ample breakfast. Good value for money. A bit "shabby chic", but that is to be expected in a city where most buildings are half-a-century old.

    The host was very helpful and welcoming and the view from the BandB is sensational. I highly recommend this BandB as it within walking distance of St Marks Sq and the Rialto. - Absolutely the best BandB I've stayed in. The rooms are massive. I would stay here again and again. This is the best value for money in all of Venice.

    The hotel room overlooked the lagoon and had two small balconies. It was a few minutes from the water bus stop so easy to find on arrival and also close to St Marks square. The hotel reception and staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was spotless.     I had such a great time here! The place is very clean and comfortable. The décor is absolutely amazing and inviting. It makes you feel very relaxed and as if you were staying in a hotel. They have many many living rooms where you can sit and chat. The view from their terrace is stunning. I had a great view from my window. It was - Great location, very easy to find, just few meters away from Grand Canal, and very close to San Marco (5min). Beautiful roof terrace. Very clean hostel. Big space where you can hang out. I came during off season,to visit Venice biennial, for one night I payed just 20 eur. Stayed in 3 bed room,and for both nights I was staying only with one very quiet Japanese girl. Breakfast is simple, but for me was just perfect, coffee, croissant, bread, jam. Definitely coming back again!

    the hotel was just a 5 min walk from Piazza san marco , a bit difficult to find but won't get you more than 10 mins the 1st time to find it . The girl in the reception is just adorable , very helpfull and very easy going . we stayed on a lovely room by the canal with my wife . very quiet area and yet very close to everything . breakfast was pret... what people say » ty standard , but very fresh and nice .we would stay there again definetely! - It was a perfect location, a 5-10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square but tucked away from the crowds of tourists in Venice. It was as nice as a hotel but felt small and quaint instead of industrial. The staff member that worked there was extraordinary. She was the most pleasant person we met in Venice.

    Maria Elisabetta and Rodolfo are a wonderful young couple who take great care of their guests. The location of the Residenza is perfect (next to San Marco but away from the crowd, and not far away from the Castello area where the Biennale takes place and where there are plenty of great authentic restaurants). We stayed in the Artist room which was neat, quiet and very clean, with a lovely view over the canal. The - In one word - Excellent. Location - perfect (near San Marco square, but on the small quiet street). Room - clean and cozy. Bathroom - big, light and clean, clean and clean (hairdryer, toiletries, towels are included). Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.) Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor. All together this will make your stay in this hotel perfect.

    Laura was friendly and helpful and on our last day she kept our lugage all day as we had a late flight home.     Cynchia I believe is the name of the woman who runs the b&b and is so lovely and helpful. Our flight landed late at night and we noticed that it was past the check in time listed at time of booking. I called her and she said no problem at all and said shed meet us at the water bus stop to walk us I the hotel.     -True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.... what people say » - Friendly, helpful staff - Great location - few minutes away from the main tourist areas, but far enough so that it was very quite - Room was lovel - Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.
