Albena! She was so wonderful to us! We arrived earlier than the stated check-in time, we had planned to just drop our bags and come back later. She said since our room was not ready (I didn't expect it to be) that we could have a different, larger room. It was a wonderful surprise! It seems that every where we had stayed prior was a little small and cramped, but this room was so huge and spacious, it felt great to be able to stretch out and breathe! Porcellino Gallery is a real gem. A small boutique hotel (only 5 rooms). All with recently completed redecorations and an upscale flair. Each room having a different theme. Location is excellent. Near to all key attractions in Florence. Owners and staff were very cordial and helpful in all regards. Made us feel totally welcome and appreciated. We were very pleased with our stay and would very definitely go back.
