The staff, particularly the receptionist were very friendly and helpful. The building itself was interesting and unique in layout. It was only a few minutes walk down to the main shopping area and the sea-front. Altogther excellent - as was the breakfast. We were so impressed we stayed again on our return from our holiday. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a half hour walk to the train station where you get the train to Cinque Terre, or there are several buses. Supermarket a five minute walk away.

Staff where very friendly, we reached to hotel after 1 am and they were so welcoming. spacious and clean room close to the port (from where you could go to Cinque Terre). Very clean. Very close to the city and convenient. Good value for money If you wanted to go by boat to Cinque Terre by boat it was fine as you only had to walk down the hill but the station is a long way. We had a car so were ok but otherwise it would have been a problem. Clean room with good view towards the gulf (but some rooms don't have such a view). 15 minutes walk to Cinque Terre boats port. Unique atmosphere. Appears to be Run by church. Nuns resided there. Had some history. Nice clean rooms. Basic but ok. Location next to port to go to cinqueterre. Close to port for visiting Cinque Terre. Staff were friendly, room was fine. It was a decent hotel. not a lot too like. location. Nothing. for some reason my guest-card didn't work when I came back at the hotel late at night and I had to wait for a half hour for the stuff to let me in (all explanations about it's reason weren't clear). no small refrigerators in room. Small room Too far from station and breakfast was not so great. Limited breakfast menu, wall-mounted shower. It was up hill climb from waterfront. If you have difficulty for mobility or elderly not very good as ou have to use steps from main st. Outward appearance is poor. Difficult to find when driving due to one way streets. Staff unfriendly. No Internet in rooms, had to walk down to the foyer - hotel is 20 min walk to the trains and up the top of a lot of stairs - not a big deal just be warned, after a big day walking the cinque terra there is a few stairs left to negotiate to get home. Dealt with a very condescending staff member when I used Italian and wasn't completely correct. no signage to indicate hotel, the hotel looked like a fortress preparing for a siege, terrible location. this is more of a hostel than an hotel. quite possibly the worst we have stayed in for years!. wifi was lobby only not suited for business travelers or those who need to be connected. The site. Extremely difficult to find a hotel. You see it and you can not get to it. We walked around town a few times. The Internet is just a cable. Breakfast was a mockery, as if it had support from the Red Cross. There is something depressing in this hotel over our bed was crucified and did not feel well. Something mystical there seem to be associated with any religious movement. Gloomy, dirthy, unlikeable hotel. rooms were cold, breakfast.
