  If you want to go back to the world of the 1950s, family run hotel with quaint charm and fair value, this is the place. I have been coming to Ispra for years - there is not much choice or comfort in other hotels, but it is the retro feel that I love here. Location on the lake is lovely - try to get a room on the x01, x02, x08, x09 or x10 side that... what people say » faces the lake more with the view of the Alps from the balcony. - The location of the hotel is very nice and convenient, and the stuff is very friendly and helpful.

  Nice balcony overlooking town square or lake depending on which floor you are on. Breakfast was very good and included. Ideal for touring Lake Maggiore only 5 kms away - The staff was extremely accommodating which made our stay very enjoyable.
