This was a fantastic place to stay. The hosts Jennifer and Francesco were very helpful. Nothing was a trouble to them. We felt we were part of the family. It was wonderful to come back after a long hot day doing the museum and church scene in Florence to relax in the pool and enjoy a meal you prepare in your appartment. The bus is very close and takes you right into Florence. You can also visit other parts off Tuscany from here. We did a wine tour of Chianti and had lunch at a vineyard suggeste.
all reviews » Our hosts Jennifer and Francesco are very affable and give nice hospitality. We had a flat tire and Francesco without any hesitation suggested to help us. He took the tire with his car in order to repair it. We understood that if we have any problem we can be sure that our hosts will provide assistance. We had a nice apartment for 2 people. The location of the residence is very good since it is close to different roads to make tours in Toscana area but there is no need for a car for Firenze. Y. The most friendly hosts I've ever met. Jenny and Francesco love the job they do, it's their life and so make people feel like at home. Our apartment was very clean, tidy with a lovely patio. The kithennnete is supplied with all appliances you may need. The pool is beautiful. The bus to Florence is just 5 min away. Jenny is always there to assist you with any information you need. Beautiful place to stay!. Francesco and Jennifer would be the most generous and friendliest hosts I have ever experienced. From booking our tours and providing us with their Tuscany knowledge our travel was made so much more enjoyable and trouble free. Highlight was the amazing bbq we had with Francesco and Jennifer. Very friendly, english speaking management. Loved the restaurant up the hill. Great place if you are interested in Florence as the bus is very close by. Jennifer and her husband are wonderful and do a fantastic job. The gardens are beautiful and they are very welcoming. You wouldn't find better hosts than Jennifer & Francesco. They went out of their way to help you with excursions you wanted to do. If you don't mind not being in the city this is the ideal location as the bus is not far away to catch to get you into Florence. Large villa suite with a living room, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom with exit to a small garden. The host, Francesco was extremely nice and helpful. Pretty close to Florence (about 20 min), we were with a car but there's a bus line nearby. Location and Owners are superb. You take a bus and you are in centre of Florence in 20 mins or so. Owners are super friendly and ready to help and answer questions. They have all the information you need to mae best of your holidays ..... We really enjoyed our stay in Rocca del Palazzaccio.It is a very nice place to stay, near to all major sities of Tuscany. The owners Jennifer & Francesco made us feel like home. Excellent joice, our best stay ever. Staff extremely friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble for them. Safe place to leave the car, and easy to get into city by bus. Lovely hilltop swimming pool with view. Lots of restaurants close at hand. We were traveling with a small baby and had a great time, also thanks to the flexibility and kindness of Jennifer & Francesco. They're such fantastic hosts, you would have to see it to believe it. Also I was very disappointed that we were on a hill in the middle of an industrial style town. All my romantic illusions of Under the Tuscan sun were destroyed. I would probably never visit Florence again as it is very very smelly and dirty. I was expecting to be surrounded by vineyards, not power lines. Finding the place was little challenging... There is no breakfast included and not much places to eat around (it's just near a small village), though I guess you can use the kitchen. Nothing. Nothing. The immediate area is not amazing but it's very easy to go to Florence or to explore Tuscany from there!. Nothing, but I didn't have time to dip in the pool!. Price.
