We arrived there very late (11pm), and forgot to call the place and notify them. We were very worried about unable to check in that night. But fortunately, they left the keys and instruction for us at the door. The cottage was super nice, with a pravite pool and garden. We really wished we could have stayed there longer. Fantastic location, a real taste of Tuscany. Near by bus to Florence, with supermarket and restaurants easily walkable.
