The staff were fantastic - they were knowledgeable and could not have been more helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The view of the Piazza Grande and the Palazzo dei Consoli from our room was wonderful. The hotel building itself was beautifully restored with lots of lovely touches. You did not hear any noise from others guests - so unusual in hotels these days. Central position in wonderful town square - able to drive up to italthough most traffic is banned to the centre. Choice of breakfasting inthe square! Luxurious and spacious bedroom and large shower room. Veryhelpful and friendly staff. Staff will park your car outside the citywalls or go with you to park it if you prefer. Looking forward toanother visit sometime.
