My husband and I stayed here with our two little girls last weekend. The hosts were very nice and hospitable. We booked an apartment and got one on the second floor (or "first" in europe) with a kitchen. There was a nice view of the sea, not spectacular but definitely more than I expected. The room(s) were very clean, surprisingly quiet, and well laid out. It wasn't luxurious, but for the price, you really can't beat it - it was great. The hotel was more of a B&B than a hotel, which we real.

As it's family run, they were friendly, helpful and supplied a terrific, generous breakfast. I work in the tourism industry where people DO NOT clean up after themselves and it's an EXTREMELY GOOD IDEA that anyone who uses the kitchen facility should pay to have it cleaned. Also, as the hotel is a mere 200m from the sea, if people do not wish to pay to use the. Apartment was very clean, we rented the suite, so it was large and had a very beautiful view of the beach! was very comfortable with 2 bathrooms, the kitchen was so clean and equipped with all one needs. it's a good experience as you have the facilities and commodities of an apartment but at the same time you can go down for breakfast and have towels and linen and soap changed like a hotel. Will definitely return if we go to Sicily again. It didn't have a pool, as the listing implies, but rather guests can use a pool at a nearby hotel. This wasn't really a surprise to me, since the listing was vague enough for me to suspect this was the case, but in case people are expecting an indoor pool in the hotel, be aware of this. Other than that, nothing really negative to say. maybe some fruit for breakfast? and a darker curtain for the bedroom to avoid waking up with the sunlight?. Difficult to find a parking place but the hotel owner was very nice in letting us park on his private one Use of kitchenette is on fee (however use of fridge is free). It's the first place I have ever stayed where you have to pay an extra 10 euros if you use the kitchen facilities in your 'self catering' apartment. The swimming pool is located in another complex and costs 7 euros per person per day to use. We had an appartment for four, so the sofa- bed was very unconfortable. Difficult to find, weak WIFI signal, additional charge for the kitchenette in my opinion is not right.
