  We liked our stay at this very nice Agriturismo. The Agriturismo Don Mauro is located in a quiet area and surrounded by lemon trees. Our room was large enough and convenient. The breakfast was very tasteful with fresh products. We also liked the nice brand new swimming pool. We especially liked the hospitality of the owners. They really make you f... what people say » eel like home. The are more than willing to give you advice about exploring the area and they speak English, German and of course Italian fluently. We - The place is out of the village which is a great to enjoy "silence of the nature". Room was fitting to the our needs - good is a clockroom where to you can store all your laguagues. Owner (Toni) speaks fluently enghlish / german and is a very good source of information - he was very helpfull. You can also buy food in nearby shop or pasticeria and eat at home.

  There is very little to dislike. We hugely enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was fine and allowed us to cook as we wished etc. The pool is excellent and even though it was October, the staff opened it up for us without complaint. Siracusa is within very easy reach and is well worth a number of visits. We used the local train from Siracusa and this added a lot - - A wonderful place to be! We had an apartment with one bedroom, bathroom and kitchen - very handy if you like cooking yourself! If not, they also offer pre-ordered dinner (but be careful - a looot of food! :) The staff was amazingly friendly. For breakfast you'll get served also their self made lemon and orange marmalade-delicious! You can also buy a jar to take along.   Friendly atmosphere, the owners went out of their way to accomodate us. The lady cooked for us the first day, while I understand this is not something routinely provided and she even purchased for us something we needed, while doing her own shopping! The rooms were very clean, linen was changed every day. Nice breakfast next to a nice swimming p... what people say » ooI. I strongly recommend it. - Everything and Anything. The staff was sweet and generouse. It is a lovely family ran hotel in a very peaceful setting. Beautiful I hope I find more like that on my trip.
