  What a unique experience that to stay at Villa Agape for a fantastic introduction to Florence. Its peaceful and wonderfully attractive setting is a perfect oasis away from the always crowded historic center. The nuns are always welcoming and helpful even though only communicating with minimum English and no French. 10 minutes walk brings you to Pi... what people say » azza Michelangelo and its iconic view over Florence. Inside, the huge villa offers many areas that give you a sense of a family home more than a conve - The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.

  The staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. They even gave us drinks from our mini bar for free! Hotel also had free use of internet which came in usefull.

You could choose be - I had read the previous reviews and was somewhat apprehensive when booking. However, the hotel exceeded expectations. The hotel was extremely clean and all facilities looked brand new. The shower in my room looked as though it had never been used. The room was decorated in a very modern way and it was very comfortable. Downstairs the lobby was quite comfortable as was the adjoining restaurant to work and grab the internet connection. I will definitely stay here again!
