Excellent hotel with a good location near Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi. excellent rooms and excellent service. This hotel is a lesson many top starred hotels should learn from on how to provide service. Joey and Lorenzo are very helpful, providing personal service and tips on what should be visited. They make the whole stay wonderful. Its people like these who prove that good hotels aren't just walls but people.

What a great little place in a perfect location. The staff is amazing and very helpful. We were first time visitors to Italy. They made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to help us print out tickets etc. Recommended some of the best food we had. The location is tucked away in a coutyard by a church right off of a main street that leads to everything you would want to see in Florence. Would stay there again.
The final location of an 8-day tour including Venizia and Ravenna this
by far was the best accommodation I had. Located in a quiet courtyard
just steps from the Ponte Vecchio/Uffizi I was never lost or
disoriented - and close to everything. The bathroom facilities were
magnficent with a wonderful spa-shower. There was a selection of
coffees, teas, capucino, etc. in the room as well as some light snacks
available.
The location was right in the centre of Florence with access to all the main sights within a few minutes walk. Rooms were comfy and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful- they were flexible with the check-in/out times, and gave a great personal service (even walking us to the Uffizi and finding the correct gate for us to pick up our tickets). Thank you for a great stay.
Easy to find, unlike what other people are saying, right in front of the ponte vecchio (also had the view from the room). The room we got was very nice, the staff very was great and i cant stress this enough: it was right in the center of the city walking distance to everything in a matter of minutes. At the price we got it, it was a catch.
Great location in city center, next to the famous bridge and easy access for visiting, shopping and 15min to train station on foot. Room has a good taste design, small hotel with 6 rooms but well equiped. Reception ladies are great and helpful with any questions. Wifi runs fast.
It is right in the centre of Florence so handy to everything. The room was beautifully decorated and we were provided with water and lots of snacks free of charge, as well as the option of a bar-fridge. The staff were very helpful and available if we needed them.
PERFECT location. Perfect point from which to see the sights, and in the middle of the shopping district. The host Lorenzo was excellent, providing much info on the area, sights, recommendations for eating, travel etc. most definitely a great choice.
Fantastic location, right in the city centre, a stone's throw from the Ufiizi. Lorenzo the owner was incredibly helpful and recommended places to eat, drink and visit that we wouldn't have necessarily seen via a guide book. Highly recommend booking.
Location fantastic, about 30 metres from the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Very convenient for us, they also arranged parking as the street we stayed in was closed to cars. Will definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to visit In the future.

The hotel is in the very heart of the city, 100 m from the Ponte Vecchio, and 100 m from the Palazzio Vecchio. Full comfort in an ancien building, but the very best is the service, the personel (Margherita, Lorenzo, and the others).
I did absolutely the perfect location and the most wonderful friendly Owners . They where so helpful and offering their best before asking for . I really admired them and without doubets I will make a book with them for next time .
Second facility "four ROOMs" gave us a huge room, a very good breakfast, excellent access to the most popular sites in the center of the city, a wonderful staff who went put of their way to help us, attractive decor, very clean.
excellent location, walked 10 minutes from train station and majority of attraction near by (2/4 blocks away, some very near). staff is very friendly and English fluent. provide storage for language before/after check in/out.
The location is perfect! Just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio and in the perfect place to start walking every day. Also Lorenzo the owner is incredibly helpful and gave us amazing tips like where to eat, drink or visit.

Spent two weeks in Italy and this was our favorite hotel. Sylvia could not have been nicer or more helpful. We spent five nights here. Room and food was awesome.

Sometimes need to fix an exact time with reception for check in our check out, so your visit schedule should be more clear for them to arrange their services, but doesn't matter so much since they respond emails as soon as you send them and really good cooperation work. Besides, il would be better if we have hot drinking water.
City centre location meant there were usual city sounds - if you want silence stay outside the centre.

Quite difficult to find it, the best is to ask a taxi driver (better than a GPS!).
You need to sleep early because the hotel locates in the most active area by the morning you will be awake definitely due to the early working time of the shops .

Room has a tiny shower, almost makes you feel claustrophobic. The bathroom ventilators are noisy, you also hear your neighbor's ventilators very well.
No control over air conditioning but it wasn't the hottest time of year.
Residenza Castelli does not have a lobby or common area where you can sit, you have to stay in the room basically. That was a bit difficult for us since we were with a small baby that went to sleep at 7pm. We should have of course checked this ourselves so we still think it is a great place.
Access , because office not manned all the time . Although it did not take long for someone to come to let us in .
The rooms are in a mixed residential/commercial building and you can sometimes get too much noise from the neighbours. Not the hotel's fault, just something to be aware of.
Bathroom too small, especially the vanity space too narrow to be able to brush teeth properly without knocking against walls.
Nothing really, apart from the fact that the toilet window blinds cannot be shut. We used a towel which worked pretty well.
Unfortunately the room was a little warm air-conditioning not strong enough to cool.
Not friendly for elderly due to lot's of stairs and the elevator was mal functioning while on our stay.
