the location is excellent,A lovely tree-lined boulevard just off via romana.the villa is impressive,do try to get A room inside the villa.we had A superior apartment inside the villa,this is better than the apartments outside of the villa. The hotel is close enough to walk everywhere in old Florence and if not there is a bus stop close by, The apartment was in a relatively quiet area, a good size and looked out over the garden.

We thought it was great. It fitted all our needs. Big room quiet With kitchen with parking. We rented the cotage. This is not a hotel or B&B , is like an apartment renting . It was silent and convenient the location for the city tour. The receptionist provided a nice restaurant location nearby where you can enjoy a very good italian food at a good price. Room was large and spacious. The location was a little difficult to find, but could be done with a proper city map. Reasonable walking distance from most tourist attractions like Duomo, Pittie Plazzo etc. Situated a short walk from the centre - near some mini-markets, some striking features including furniture generous rooms, good security. Polite staff - quite well informed. Location was nice. A lot of space in the studio. Close to Boboli Gardens. Great if you want peace and quite, and to have cooking facilities. Nice location. Secure parking. Convenient for Florence city centre. location (10 min walk to Ponte Vecchio) - garden. Reception did respond quickly on request for stove to be cleaned and also pots, pans, cutlery was replaced or cleaned up next morning. The location , was beautiful area, green easy access to public transport, good living space. The ridiculous stairs up to the mezzanine kitchen - only fit for mountain goats - small ones at that. We thought it was a bit strange that the reception wasn't open in the weekend. We had to ask for new towels and toiletpaper. No clean room service. This is not a 4 star residence. The soap in the bathroom is insuficient for many days, so take shower gel with you . In our bathroom there was not a hairdryer , but our friends had one in their cottage. The furniture is very old and there is a specific smell in the room . Is not advertised as being a renting apartment and we expected a hotel facilities which is not the case. So no cleaning for one week. Just to know what to expect. No breakfast service, but could cook in the room as it had a small kichenette. Lacking in modern basics like air conditioning which lets in mosquitoes through older style windows. Wifi patchy, TV all local, no meals on offer. Beds we found quite uncomfortable. All the cupboards / wardrobes need a good airing. The negatives outweigh the positives significantly we would not recommend. Towels could be cleaned more than once a week. The kitchen was poorly furnished with a few mismatched bowls and cutlery. It was impossible to find 2 dinner plates for a meal. There was no corkscrew (in Tuscany!) among other missing kitchen utensils. A little more effort to provide a few necessities in the kitchen would make this a place we could return to. moldy smelling towels. Oven of stove and top of stove were not clean. Roasting pan contained grease. Facility overall needs some sprucing up, grouting in bathroom for example. Would recommend more maintenance checks by owner and better supervision of cleaning staff. No kettle, not very clean at all, have no idea when curtains were ever washed, dishes dirty, very little cutlery. no heating. This place should not come up in the hotel section of search as it did not clearly state that there were no food options or daily cleaning of room and replacing toilet paper. The staff were really nice which made up for it however it should be advertised correctly. The room we were given was not at all like those shown on the website. It was very shabby and required a complete makeover. The bathroom was particularly unpleasant, the plugs did not fit the bath or the sink and again required a complete makeover. If they had not insisted on full payment up front before we saw our room we would not have stopped longer than one night.
