Excellent value for money and close enough to centre to walk; 15/20 minutes. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Parking can be a problem but after the first night we were given a space in the hotel garage round the corner. Best if you have a small car. Our room 414 was spacious enough for 3 nights with a balcony and a very modern bathroom. All very clean. Free Wi-fi which always worked really well. Also found 3 very good reasonably priced local restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Breakfa.
all reviews » It was very nice and confortable, the rooms were modern and had every facility, breakfat was really good. They rent bikes so you can visit the city faster! But anyway, its just a 10 minute walk away from the Duomo, which I think is the main attraction, the hotel is close to a supermarket and different shops, cafes and restaurants, I really enjoyed my stay, the staff is pretty kind and helped me with everything i needed.Totally recommended!. Excellent value in this 3 Star hotel (rated 2 but it is really a 3 Star for sure). The price for the room and excellent breakfast included was great. I stayed with my family of 8 there. The rooms were newly renovated, excellent cappuccino and fresh fruits included in breakfast, free parking and very helpful staff for only $100 euro/room/night in Florence. I highly recommend - unbeatable value and quality. Staff was very friendly. We arrived after midnight, but they stayed up waiting for us. Everything was clean and very comfortable. They recommended an excellent restaurant (The taverna) close by. If we go back to Florence we would definitely stay in this hotel again. Highly recommended. A traditional, old fashioned hotel on approach, only to be located on the 4th floor in a fab modern room with great city view. The hotel is located by the side of the historic city of Florence and should have been a pleasant walk of 20 minutes to the city centre. Unfortunately, it was raining and freezing cold on the second day of our visit and therefore, the walk was not at all enjoyable. The rooms are reasonably sized and the breakfast was up to our expectation. The staff were all very helpful and making good recommendation for decent restaurants nearby. We stayed in one of the newly decorated rooms, which was very large and nicely appointed. The air-conditioning worked nicely and wi-fi was available in the rooms. The wifi on my floor didn't worked, so I had to always come down to the lobby if I wanted to use internet. Lift is on 1/2 floor so you have some stairs to the lift. Disabled and elderly people might have a bit of trouble (though staff will definitely help with luggage). Breakfast selection was lacking & kept running out. No real bar. Decor dated & refurb overdue. We were given the 5th floor but the elevator only reached the 4th floor. That was the only negative about this hotel. A little far from the city central,if we didn't take a taxi on the first day,we won't find the hotel so easily. the soap can be used up to the end and has not be replaced by a new one each day. It's not in the centre, but quite easy to go by foot. poor breakfast. The elevator is tiny and outdated which didn't bother me as I usually take the stairs when I can, but it could bother some people. it's a little bit far from the city center, though not too much if you like a good morning walk. Nothing. Waiting for the bus back to hotel at night. Thought it was closer to major sights, but it was not a problem.. about 20 minutes walking distance. It appears that the lower 2-3 floors are not updated like the floor we are on. I didn't see inside the rooms, so am unable to verify. It is a bit of a hike to the city center and some of the neighborhoods along the way seemed a little too quiet to walk after dark. A few noisy nights without staff intercepting culprits. One very agitated lady working during breakfast hours. old fashion look, the bed wasn't comfortable at all. The room wasn't very spacious.the bathroom was a little old and the walls were old and dirty too.i didn' t like the fact that we stayed at hotel jane without being previously informed .
