1 - Marco, the host, was great! He was friendly, helpful and organized :). 2 - The BnB is on the top floor of an apartment building 2 minutes away from the Florence S. M. Novella station (the main station) and 5 minutes away from the city's historic center. The building has a super small lift, but again, having a lift at all was a bless! 3 - Our room was large, very bright, nicely decorated, fully equipped, and the extra small step after the bathroom by the door gave the room a little homey cos.
all reviews » We managed to get the room with the four-poster bed in, which was of a great size and had a nice en-suite. Florence is very expensive, over-priced for accommodation in my opinion. However, this B&B, at just over £90 per night, was good value for money compared to lots in Florence. The owner was a nice chap and provided us with advice on restaurants, as well as putting on a good quality continental breakfast in the morning and letting us leave our bags there after checkout. He also has some . A nice little b&b, within a walking distance from the train station and at the same time pretty close to city center. It's just enough for a short comfortable stay in Florence. The breakfast is pretty simple, but fresh and tasty. The owner is very welcoming and pleasant. WiFi is free and stable. This is a very good little little hotel in an excellent location to wander Florence. Marco could not be nicer or more helpful! The Breakfast is great, with coffee, tea, and a selection of pastries, fruit, toast, meats, and yogurts. Overall a very pleasant stay in Florence!. Matteo was amazing- booked a tour for us, gave us detailed directions, watched our bags for us while we picked up the rental car, and more! He is the best thing about Arco Antico. The breakfast was also huge and delicious. Perfect location. 10 min. walk to the shopping area. Very quiet at night. Matteo was very friendly and helpful. He taught us a well-known restaurant for Bistecca alla fiorentina, and it was splendid. very nice little B&B,clean and quiet.felt like a home. staf was very helpful and kind, good location. Great location The host gave us a map if florence and showed us on the map all the places that are intresting in florence and gave us some good restirants. A few mosquitoes in the room. We think the net window had a small hole or gap through which some smart ones could sneak their ways in. There was nothing that I actively disliked. The TV is only 14", so if that is a big part of your holiday, that might get to you. It didn't bother us. There were a handful of mosquitos in the room, probably due to all the wet weather!. The shower cabin is quite small, and so is the elevator as the building is quite old. But that's hardly a problem. The mattress was not very comfortable, so we ended up sleeping over the comforter- luckily an extra blanket was included! Otherwise perfect stay. As I expected, the room was very small. I'd appriciate if they had more space in the bathroom also. There wasn't enough space to put the belongings on the sink. Although the room and the bathroom were very clean. Not great if you need a big lift to the 4th floor!. The staff isn't so freindly Fery poor breakfast The room isnt 100% clean The price is to high for that place Didn't like the b&b but loved the location of it.
