Staff, especially Ms AnnaMaria who speaks perfect English. Setting and history of Erice. Walking at 7incline excellent exercise. Great food, coral, history, fresh air, magical atmosphere, cablecar to Trapani , easy access to Egadi Islands, fog and cool air at night, don't need AC in September. The rooms were very comfortable, the reception warm and welcoming. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was very good - lovely food and excellent service.
