We area a young couple and we stayed for 2 days in the end of March in this location. It was really something special if you want to get in touch with real Italian country side. The location is run by an Italian family in a 90-years old house - they have a big olive plantation and a winery. It was really nice to talk about this - how do the make the wine, how do they do the olive oil and about the history of the house. It is just feels so authentic. all reviews » Perfect! At first, we thought the price was a little high, but after three days we understood the reason, everything was perfect! Located in a natural environment, it’s in the perfect situation to visit amazing beaches (such as Cala Goloritzé) and lovely mountains and landscapes (such as Gorropu and Golgo). The hosts, Sebastian and his wife are very friendly, let them help you to plan the journey. They done everything themselves: tastefully cannonau wine (typical Sardinian), marmalades, their o. It's was a very beautiful experience. The whole place is very authentic, made with a lot of love and detail. Our room had a fantastic terrace overlooking the valley and the mountains. Just breathtaking! The room itself was made in a rural style with many nice craft hand-made details from the island. Always clean. The people who met us in the hotel were extremely nice and lovely. They were ready to help us with all the instructions and directions related to our day excursion to the canyon Sa Gor. The friendly, personal approach and the willingness to be helpful. We had our own balcony and a great view of the country with it's lush valleys and majestic mountain ranges. It was only 15 minutes to Cala Ganone and the fabulous turqiose green sea. There are many things that are special about this accommodation. We even had an empty fridge which was not full of things to sell that we could put some food in. Super B&B located in a beautiful valley, near Dorgali and yet so peaceful.We enjoyed a big beautiful room, good mattress. Very good food in a beautiful authentic space. The super friendly host family will give you good tips for visits. You will experience a real family atmosphere, there was a lot of info exchanged about life on Sardinia. A place to definitely return, and the sea is not so far away. Despite hosts speaking no English they were lovely and so welcoming! Offered us heaps of advice on local sights whilst drinking aperitifs on arrival and cooked is a traditional three course meal for a very reasonable price. Immaculately clean albeit basic room. Gorgeous surroundings. Everything we needed including two family dogs to play with!. The location was perfect to visit Cala Gonone and make a boat trip along the coast and visit the caves and beaches. Sebastien and his wife make you feel welcome and the rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. The bed was very good as well. In the evening you can eat a fixed dinner with their own local wine ,which was good. the hotel is beautiful. our room was fantastic very big and with a very comfortable bed.we had a large terrace with a breathtaking view to the mountains. owners were fantastic and very friendly. Very nice location + the owners are extremely nice + room was large and very clean + food was very good and local + home-made wine was a real treat + highly recommended for a relaxing trip. It was cold during our stay inside the room (about 15c) and there was no option to heat the room (maybe wine) so that created discomfort to us. No internet, but you do not need it in such locations!. There could be greater flexibility in the type of meals offered and the times it is available, especially dinner. It would be helpful to have an electric jug in the rooms with some cups and glasses to make a cup of tea. Nothing. the breakfast was a little bit early from 8.30 to 9.00. Nothing but italian spoken. Food is overpriced (30€ per person) for an average quality. Only italian speaking hosts, so italian basics are useful. Evening meal was not worth the cost. Location was close to Dorgali but being on the outskirts felt a bit out of the way. Immediate surroundings were not truely rural but not town either- though as said the distant mountainous view was great. Lack of internet. Some communication barrier because owners did not speak English.
