Amazing hotel. Literally the friendliest welcome I've ever had. Lovely room with a stunning view from the roof terrace. Incredible food and service at the hotel's outside restaurant. We were highly impressed and decided to stay extra nights. We were impressed by how efficiently the hotel is run by its owners. They were always working alongside their many staff. We never waited for anything. I highly recommend this place.
all reviews » The owner welcome us with glass of champagne. Our 8 days stay was very delightful. The room was big and the bathroom also. They serve good breakfast and the restaurant is very nice with good food. The staff was kind and helpful.The hotel is in the center of Desenzano with everything in walking distance. Central location. Quaint hotel set up - like 3 old houses joined together. Cleanliness of rooms. Choice of 3 restaurants - terrace, pizzeria or wine bar - in the hotel, all of which looked very good. We ate in the wine bar - it was full of atmosphere and the food and service were excellent!. Wine bar, restaurant, nice internal court fournished for a relaxing-pause at each time of the day. Friendly and willing staff Perfect position : close to the city center but at the same time not exposed to uproar since "hidden" in a very narrow street (forbidden to cars and motorbikes). location in the centre of town 100 meters from the ferry terminal, lovely restaurants (there are 3, one pizza, one trattoria, one more formal) value for stay and food. great location and friendly staff.right in the center of the old part of town with excellent restaurants and close to the lakeside. Great restaurant. - central - free car park very close. Ummm... well we liked everything! I guess our room was pretty rustic although this didn't bother us - in fact we preferred it, and we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The only thing i would have much preferred is a better shower. So some people may expect a less basic room for their money. No negative coments. Nearest parking was 500m away - need to plan carefully for luggage drop off!. It's just the hotel I would like to find in each town I visit for pleasure. Totaly suggested. constant loud music until 1 am in the restaurant under our windows, probably there are other rooms not overlooking this restaurant but as the hotel is under renovation it might have been a problem to provide a "quiet" room at this time. Parking might be difficult. - bathroom very dark (only 2 lights above the sink) - bed not comfortable - very old furniture - ventilation very noisy in the bathroom.
