Hotel was in the closed area of Cremona. Has its own restaurant which was reasonably priced. The staff and service was outstanding. As stated the area is not acessable by car so I stopped and walked 1/2 block to hotel. They sent a staff member with me he showed me where to park and helped me get my luggage to the hotel and did the same when I was leaving. The area has a street market on Wednesdays they say its also on Saturdays. Rooms were very clean and hotel is 1/2 block from the piazza and .
all reviews » Excellent location, just in the city centre. People very friendly and attentious to details (carried bags to rooms, gave good tips and offerred for free many bottles of water). The dinner was outside and very well served with local excellent food and drinks. At the end, a free drink to me and free icecreams to kids well appeciated!! In the morning the beakfast was served outside and was very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel. Bravo!. A little gem of a hotel hidden in the pedestrian zone, 20 meters from the duomo and loads of cafes. Shopping is right here as well. The restaurant is really nice and the staff wonderful. Loads of young violonists from all over the world stay at this hotel. The location of the hotel is in the center of the town, only a few steps from the Cathedral and Toraco - the symbol of the city. The stuff was really very kind and trying hard around us.Hotel has it's own restoran which was excellent for dinner. Staff is extremely friendly. Hotel is maybe not o 5 stars, but the enormous hospitality makes it a seven stars. Try their restaurant, cheap and authentic italian food. very friendly, the staff went out of their way to help as there was a problem with the plumbing (we got 2 double rooms instead of one quadruple for the second night). The hotel is an old building, elegantly and tastefully modernised and run by a young team, very enthusiastic, friendly and helpfull. Same goes for the restaurant. Location, Duomo own resturant, very helpful and friendly staff, very clean, tastefully renovated, room with attic where we stayed was really beautiful. The hotel was very friendly, full of smiling staff who seemed to really care about their business. The breakfast was good. The room was clean. Very good location, city centre. Good breakfest. Downstairs restaurant was superb!!! Service was very good. Everything !. The place. The room (nr 25 - for families) was very hot and the air conditioning did not have power to cool it - the night was not confortable because of the high temperature. However, this does not change my very high recommendation for this pleasant hotel with nice working people!!. A tiny bit noisy as we had the room right next to the stairway. I didn't like the room which had only a roof window that couldn't open, so it was claustrofobic.Also, it was raining and water was running down the walls. Breakfast, except cookies, was poor and dishes not particulary clean. I have never seen slower and smaller elevator. All super. One of the rooms had a window on the street side, and as it's very central, there were passers by speaking rather loud until quite late in the night. Nothing. Nothing. Noicy at night time. Rooms door didnt keep the voice from the hall. Small room. The boss !!!. Car parking not easy. Car park was in 5 mintues walk distance. Shower head was fixed on the wall.
