We were returning from Sicily to Rome with a flight which departed early in the morning. We had to give back the rented car at the airport. The owner of Kunesias hotel pick up us from the airport in the evening and bring to the airport in the morning at 6:00 am. As soon two good restaurants located outside of the center of Cinisi the owner of the hotel brings us at the restaurant and after we finished dinner came to pick us up. He was really helpful and friendly person.
all reviews » Very nice place to stay, not far from the Palermo city, the natural reserve and the beach. The room is very nice and clean. The owner is extremely hospitable and can make you feel home. He even made us breakfast 4 in the morning and then drove us to the airport. The staff was great at the B&B - they asked when our flight was, and made sure we had time for breakfast before we left that morning. The shuttle was only 20 euro from the B&B, and they will tailor the time of the shuttle around your flight. They also drove us to a restaurant that night for dinner, which had pretty good food! The place itself was quiet, with a clean room and bathroom. The owner was amazingly friendly and helpful. He drove us to (and picked us up from) a restaurant for dinner because he didn't think the restaurants nearby within walking distance were good. The room was quite large, and the common area was as well. It was very cozy, and we felt very welcomed. It is also fairly close to the airport, which was convenient for our early morning flight. The owner went out of his way to accommodate us with transfers to and from airport for a small fee. He provided breakfast extremely early in the morning so we ate before our flight. The accommodations were nice new and clean. Recommended a restaurant for dinner that was wonderful. Took us and picked us up. What great service for a B&B. Very convenient for early morning departure from Palermo airport. Claudio couldn't have been more helpful. He drove us to a very nice restaurant (Grace), and when we were done, his wife came and got us. He had breakfast laid out for us at 4:00 AM! If we hadn't had our own car, he probably would have driven us to the airport. We used Kunesias as a close to the airport B&B to rest up after a long flight which enabled us to go back to the airport to collect our hire car the next day. Claudio happily collected us on arrival which was very late at night and provided a shuttle service back to the airport the next day all at a very reasonable price. We stayed here because of the proximity to Palermo airport and a very early morning flight. The owner was very helpful. He saved us a parking space in front of the B&B and helped to carry in our bags. He also provided a breakfast at 5:30 AM for us to grab on the way out. The room was spacious and very clean. Amazing service! We had a mix up in our flights and were a last min booking and they took great care of us. Even with the stress of our mix up and traveling with our 4 year old we were able to relax while at Kunesias. Definitely would recommend this place to others. What a pleasant surprise to find an airport hotel of this caliber. The management goes out of its way to facilitate matters, such as dropping off a rental car and getting to the airport. Highly recommended for anyone who has to deal with the Palermo airport. Care and attention by owner-operator. Made restaurant reservations and took us and brought us back at no charge. If you are flying in via Palermo airport make sure you arrange Claudio to pick you up as Taxi cost from airport is 37 Eu, Claudio is only 20 Eu. Rooms are clean and quiet, highly recommended. For a stop off for Palermo airport ANY local hotel is a pain. The autostrada goes directly to the airport with no local roads Juctions are kilometres down the autostrada. nothing. Nothing.
