Stayed here for 5 nights late April 2013. Chose hotel in a old rustic town for the true Tuscany experience. Also is a good point to make excursions around Tuscany and the coastline. Was warmly welcomed, the owners of the hotel were very kind, cordial, and welcoming. We got a room on the second floor that faced east towards the countryside. The room was very clean with well appointed. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom was roomy. Normal breakfast hours begins at 8:30am but since we were at the time .

Remote location: having a car a must but right in heart of Tuscany and quiet. Excellent base for daydrips. Restaraunt was very good. Ate 2 nights and all 3 mornings at hotel. Typical Italian breakfast with pastries and such. Great, Friendly English speaking staff. Will be back on our next trip to Tuscany!. Friends recommended this hotel. It is delightfully situated in a lovely old village where you wake to the sound of birdsong and church bells. Excellent point for exploring Tuscany, great for a relaxing stay as well. Nice seculded location in small hilltop village square, ideal centre to explore the area for a couple of days. The hotel was very rustic, set in a beautiful location in a lovely town in the hills. - lovely place - great hospitality - spacious rooms - tasty meal. We liked the stuff, excellent food in the restaurant. Great personal customer service. Only negative was that the showers in the bathtubs have no curtains so it is easy to make a wet mess but it was not an issue. Pool was closed. We knew this when we booked but would be a definite plus when opened. The water wasn't warm. Nothing serious, but you need to know a few Italian words. Resturant prices high but food is good. Very few other alternative resturants in the area. when it rains it rains seating area in lounge suffered from lack of light due to timer switch only lasting 30 seconds. - meal prices in the hotel restaurant are quite high. The small shower cabin. A bit pricey.
