The Chia Laguna - Hotel Village is part of the large Chia Laguna resort on the most southern tip of Sardinia. It offers a central square full of boutiques and a wide choice of restaurants, bars and sports activities. Chia Laguna - Hotel Village features private beaches, a tennis club and Chia Golf Club. It is ideal for exploring local sandy beaches and is around 1 hour's drive from Cagliari-Elmas Airport. Completely modernised in 2011, the resort now has new gardens and the modern Bouganville restaurant. The rooms were updated in 2012 and include air conditioning, internet access and a view of the garden. You can enjoy the new infinity pool, fitness centre with Turkish bath and a poolside restaurant specialising in Sardinian dishes. Sports activities are organised in the wellness centre and the swimming pool. A shuttle service takes you to the beach and children have a mini club, children's pool and playground. They have a special area and menu in the restaurant. A buffet breakfast and dinner are served at the Bouganville restaurant. Other options include pizza and fresh fish, enjoyed both indoors and outdoors.

Situated for the most part on the first floor of the cottages, the Classic rooms are harmoniously surrounded by lush greenery. Some have the luxury of a private veranda overlooking the entire village.

Travelling information

Cagliari / Elmas Airport, Sardinia's main airport, can be easily reached via Rome or Milan and from all major European capitals.

A transfer, by taxi, from the airport to the resort takes approximately 50 minutes and the one-way fare is approximately EUR 100. There is no regular shuttle service provided, however this can be organized upon request.

By car:

From Cagliari Airport / Elmas:
- take the SS 195 towards Pula
- after Pula continue on SS 195
- turn left after approximately 13km towards Chia
- the resort is approximately 3km ahead on the right-hand side.

From Cagliari Train Station:
- take the SS 195 towards Pula
- after Pula continue on SS 195
- turn left afte approximately 13km towards Chia
- the resort is approximately 3km ahead on the right-hand side.

Ferries to Cagliari from Livorno and Civitavecchia (Rome) cost EUR 30- 40 depending on the season. From Cagliari, a taxi costs EUR 85 or you can take a public bus (approximately EUR 6) from Cagliari to a stop at the resort's entrance.
