Free parking is provided and you are 10 minutes' drive from the A20 Motorway.

The breakfast is overpriced for what it is but the room can be booked without.I don't think the lunch options were very good. this hotel has a feeling of mass tourism because of the size and groups there.My wife had a very close accident. On arrival we had lunch on the terrace. Part of it was screened off for maintenance. After we had been there half an hour a gust of wind blew the large heavy framed screen over towards my wife. It missed her head by cms and came to rest on the back of her seat. The weight of the frame was such that had it hit her head it would have killed her instantly. No shop.5euros to play pool. No hotel shuttlebus to Cefalu centre andparking in Cefalu is impossible! Several things on menu were notavailable.I Would recomend it if the previous comments were adressed.IDid not read the guest reviews before booking.The trek to the beach was not good. Not enough bar staff. The rooms arefairly basic and the air conditioning poor. If you don't get down tobreakfast before 09:00 they run out of eggs etc. Hotel looks like it hasn't had any attention for years. My room was unclean, blood stains on sheets and dripping air-con that didn't really work. Staff were unhelpful especially the breakfast staff. The 10 Euro per person additional cost for a stale croissant and bad coffee was excessive. The owners of this hotel really need to consider some basics as the position is good.

Important information to guests

Please note you must climb a short staircase to access the hotel restaurant and terrace. Please note that the restaurant and pool are open from mid-March until early November.

Information about the area

Caldura Bay is situated East of Cefalù, on Sicily's northern coast. It is a beautiful area, unspoilt by human influence, and a treasure to explore. It consists of rocks, hidden bays, beaches and of course, the sea. At the top you will also find an old Normanic tower.

Room information details

Each room is tastefully decorated in a typically Mediterranean style. Almost every room has a far-reaching view over the Mediterranean Sea and the east coast of Messina.

Each room offers a double bed and an additional single bed.

Travelling information

The hotel is located 70 km east of Palermo.
Coming from Palermo:
- Take the motorway A 20 in the direction of Messina and take the exit Cefalù Ovest
- Follow the main road to Cefalù, after 3 km go the by-pass road to Messina by sea route.
- After a tunnel, 200 metres on the left you find the Hotel Kalura.

Coming from the Main Station of Cefalù;:
- Take the bus to the Station Cavallaro, the bus stops directly at the Hotel. (only 2 km)

From the Airport Palermo:
- You can take the train to Cefalù, change at Palermo Main Station.
