Surrounded by peaceful nature, Sataru Resort is just 3 km from Guidaloca Beach and a 15-minute drive from the Zingaro Nature Reserve. It offers an outdoor pool, Sicilian restaurant and uniquely decorated rooms with wood-beamed ceilings. Rooms at Sataru are very characteristic and have lots of personal touches, making each one different. All are air conditioned and have a TV, minibar and patio area. Breakfast is offered at Resort Sataru, while the restaurant serves local specialities out on the terrace, surrounded by colourful flowers, lemon groves and palm trees. Parking is free at the resort, which is ideal for exploring Northern Sicily. Staff can provide useful tourist and travel information. The picturesque town of Scopello is 5 km from the property, and the Greek Temple of Segesta is a 15-minute drive away. The popular seaside town of San Vito Lo Capo is just under an hour's drive from the Sataru.

Uber friendly owners and staff! Make sure not to miss Antony's homemade Sicilian dinners, the pasta dishes are not to believe. Resorts location is ideal not only for treks to the beach, nature preserve and historic sites, but also for city trips e.g. Palermo. We loved the location, very convenient for this part of Sicily and the tranquility of the resort was lovely at the end of a busy day. The breakfast was a good start to the day - lots of variety. the pool was clean and the location exceptional - what views.

The hotel's hospitality and atmosphere are those of a private home with the services of a hotel.

The transformation from an ancient home into a hotel, has been completed with total respect to the original Sicilian style; in particular you will find hand-made pottery decorated with ancient designs.

Important information to guests

When booking the half-board service, please note that water and house wine are included with the meal. Access to the swimming pool is free, even after check-out.

Information about the area

Most of the important tourist sites, historical attractions and archaeological sites are within a few kilometres of the hotel. These include: Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, Trapani, Marsala, Mozia, Le Saline, Palermo, Segesta and Selinunte.

The welcoming, traditionally Sicilian rooms have been decorated with wood and tiles. All 10 rooms are equipped with all common facilities.

Travelling information

By Car:
From Palermo or Trapani:
- Take the motorway in the direction of Trapani/Mazzara del Vallo and exit at Castellammare del Golfo.
- Continue along the road, following signs to Trapani SS187 (the sea will be on your right-hand side).
- After approximately 5 km, you will find a crossroads on your right, where there is the option of turning towards Scopello. Do not take this road.
- Instead, you will pass a bridge and a factory of marble and you will see a big blue sign saying “turn right for Scopello and left for Fraginesi”.
- Turn left to Fraginesi and, after 1 km, you will find a large and long white wall with a villa inside it on your right. Stop the car and ring the bell.

Please note that some rental cars have a satellite navigator. Most guests have problems following the instructions of the navigator because Fraginesi (where the hotel is) is not a street but a Contrada (small village) not known by most of the navigators. Do not hesitate to call the hotel for further information or directions.
