The staff were outstanding; friendly and extra-ordinarily helpful, going out of their way to help with the children and give us advice. There is a train station very close running between Milan and Lake Maggiore, but it is not very regular so check the times.   The guest house was almost brand new and was therefore very clean, modern, and comfortable. I was given a large double room, which was fully air-conditioned. The complementary breakfast was decent enough. A shuttle service to Malpensa airport is available for 5 euros one way (but it appeared that this was not available in the early hours of the mo... what people say » rning so getting very early flights may be an issue). Staff were pleasant, helpful, and spoke good English. Highly recommended! - We were greeted with coffee and cake. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. It is a good place to stay if you have to catch an early flight from Malpensa but its not easy to get into Milan if you want to go for an afternoon.
