I was concerned about the noise being so close to the airport, which is why we chose this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised as it was sound proof. It was one of the best night sleep I had while on our three week tour. this was our last night. Beds and linen wan very comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there eg. dinner and breakfast. Although not fine dining but all we needed for our big day travelling. We would stay again if we needed to fly out from Malpensa airport. A pleasa.
all reviews » For someone who needs to stay a few days ...or even just one night this hotel is just an excellent choice: Shuttle connected to both terminals, quiet area with nice surrounding, rooms are very clean ...as indeed just everything at the hotel, nice luminous reception, sitting area and breakfast hall decorated in warm colors. Good breakfast. Indeed helpful kind and sympathetic staff. I would like to have all my hotels this style. Highly recommended. If your departure from Milano, this hotel is the best choose because of very close to Malpenza Airport. you can go to Milano center by train in 1 hour and back same. also you can rent a car from airport and visit to Como lake easily. prices, rooms, personel , etc very usual prefossional basis. we prefer this hotel because of Milano was our last stop and accessing to airport early. also there is free shuttle bus to airport from hotel. Our stay at the hotel was most enjoyable. The staff in the reception area were very friendly and efficient. The bedroom was immaculate and looked as if it it had recently been upgraded. the room was fitted with everything that travellers. The buffet breakfast was of a very high standard and we really appreciated the free shuttle service to and from the airport. We hope to come to the hotel again in the future. Location was great! We have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express Hotels: this is the best, yet ; the room and bathroom were quite spacious and very modern with plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. and a roomy & very comfortable bed. It was nice and quiet for sleeping. The hotel shuttle was prompt, in the morning. V.good location for those staying at Malpensa airport (transit passangers) with direct airport shuttle bus which runs each 7 mins almost to the hotel. Generally very good value for money, however we haven't tried breakfast due to v.early flight in the morning. The hotel is well located near the Airport with a free Airport shuttle. The rooms are modern, clean and neat and the staff very helpful and prompt. The breakfast is excellent. Overall a great hotel to spend after landing in Malpensa airport. Early "breakfast" consists only of fake crossaint and coffee. None. Approach to Internet is odd. They want you to purchase it. But they gave us free one hour usage for each room. That seemed to be enough. But they should just include it in the amenities as a free service. Lastly, the kingsize bed given yo us was rock hard. Not very comfortable. Those were my only issues with the hotel. - Location (good for overnight only) - Not clear how to reach the hotel (very frustrating experience to search for transfer at midnight in empty airport) - Last transfer is at 11:30 p.m. - No mini bar/fridge in rooms - Staff look unfriendly and/or unsatisfied. Nothing. The last shuttle is on 23:30, later you have to pay for an expensive taxi. Shuttle bus is not operating after 23.00. Breakfast could have been better. It was a very long wait for the shuttle at the airport. Limited to 1 hour wifi in the room unless a " member" of some holiday inn club but they did allow free access to their desk top computers in the foyer area. nothing. no signs at airport to show pick up point. limited breakfast choices that was rarely replenish. The member of staff who dealt with our checkout was extremely rude - not at all our experience of the earlier staff that we dealt with. I had been waiting for some time and a couple just dropped their room pass on the desk - she immediately started to deal with their pass, ignoring me. When I walked away she shouted after me to come back. I knew there were no charges on my room so did not return. She subsequently asked another guest to ask me to return. I did not. The airport shuttle is not really 24 hours as advertised. A 5 minute taxi ride to the airport was €18!. nothing. Nothing really. Hard to find even with a GPS - felt like we were driving into somewhere where a hotel should not be. The actual location is fine it's just the slightly strange way you get there! Bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable. Breakfast did not start til 6 so we missed it given our flight was at 7. Only option was an unappetising packaged croissant to take away. Some fruit would have been better. The bus to the airport terminal was overcrowded. There was no pre-book your seat system and that would make it more manageable. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The WiFi is free only for the first hour. Room was warm 0n 10/20 and you could not open the window. I called and they turned the air on but it never really cooled down. The €12 charge to watch television. We had our own car but noted a €8 charge to ride the shuttle to the airport, which is only 1.5 miles distant. the plug for water to outflow from the shower has to be lifted manually. Recorded Music played all night throughout the hotel corridors making sleep difficult, small bar area, no restaurant, just a buffet. A little hard to find since it's in the middle of a semi-abandoned town. Could use a better restaurant and a pool as there's nothing to do in the area. They missed our wake-up call. Airport pickup was slow and call to the hotel were not answered in a courteous way. Staff could smile and greet people better. must have gps to find the place. The coffee should be improoved at breakfast.
