My business partner and I travel a lot, so we see varying quality. We are starting a new business and are on a budget. We were so impressed with this hotel that we introduced ourselves to the manager and told him so. It is clean, crisp and light. The members of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room designs are funky and clever (eg the swivelling desk!) and interesting. We would certainly stay here again and would be pleased to recommend it.
all reviews » Our stay was too short to enjoy all the niceties. This is a fine facility. We chose it because we had an 8 a.m. flight; needed to be at the airport at 6; the night was far too short. But everything was fine. Wish we had had more time to enjoy it. Room rate was a factor; the airport hotel was very pricey; this was reasonable.The hotel staff has been very kind and well trained. The price was very reasonable and convenient. The room service pays attention to the detail when they clean the room. I stay in Hilton most of the time but I recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in Milan. I decided to extend 4 additional days here at Novotel. The family room was extremely comfortable with a high quality bathroom.The main restaurant being open to midnight was very important due to ourlate arrival and the quality and choice for breakfast was excellent.Definately use this hotel again.Access to the airport. Shuttle was great. Picked us up at the airport after we returned our rental car and took us to the airport when we asked. Shuttle runs every one half hour and they were on time. You go outside to gate seven. Very convenient location. Great to be able to eat at 10 pm after a late flight. Our room was very well designed and stylish, and the tea and coffee making facilities most welcome. Would definitely stay here again.The staff and service were excellent. It is necessary to call to have the shuttle meet you at the airport.spent 5 euro trying to phone the hotel about the shuttle to find out that it comes regularly anyway and no need to phone. One of the airport bus transfer drivers (the one at our arrival) seemed to have "misunderstood" the concept of service, and he was driving agressively.Unfortunately the free 7 seat airport shuttle bus was already fully booked at the time we wished to use it. The hotel arranged a hire car (taxi) for us but the cost for the short trip was 20 euro. breakfast is not included. It would have been nice if there had been some other restaurants nearby. it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but you could tell that someone had smoked in there. also, we had no way to contact the hotel to request pickup from the airport, so we had to take a taxi, which was quite expensive.The fact that there is no internet in the rooms. The pool closed at 8 P.M. and I didn't arrive in time. It should be -"swim at your own risk" and open 24 hours a day.Hotel shuttle was not available after 10pm and taxis would not take us to hotel as it was not a large fare. Had to persuade a minibus to take us for 20 euros. I arrived at 10.00pm and much of the food on the late menu was finished. I had to have a pizza, the first one was sent back as it was cold and stodgy.Internet was very expensive. Directions to get there were impenetrable, as was figuring out how tocontrol the temperature of the water in the shower.lack of training of bar staff and restaurant staff (certain staff). my dinner at the hotel on June 28 consisted of a bowl of plain pasta with tomoe sauce a plus a cherry tomatoe and cheese salad and a medium bottle of mineral water. The price was extremely expensive. $25 euros for food that cost about3-4 euros. how do you possibly justify this?. The curtain and rail fell down in the night!. We would have appreciated having the shuttle run earlier in the day since our flight was at 6 a.m.Nothing - excellent and as described on booking.com.
