  The location was perfect! Breakfast overlooking the aqua blue pristine waters of the Golfo d'Orosei. For service and location it was a 5 star. For upkeep and luxury in the room it was a 3 star. The toilet seat was cracked, a light bulb was out in the hallway, but everything else was very clean and comfortable. I would expect just a little bit more... what people say » luxury for a 4 star, but the five star staff and location make up for the 3 star place. Value was very good. I booked on letsbookhotel.com - The hotel has a perfect location. Our room had a view over the Mediterranean with palm trees and seats on the other side of the small road outside the hotel. The road is no problem as it is very little traffic passing through. The breakfast was ok, there were eggs, biscuits, good bread, yoghurt, fruits, everything you need for a good start off the day. The hotel is very close to the beaches, wonderful. Carla Gonone is a very lovely place to stay at.

  The hotel was beautiful with well appointed new rooms including beautiful granite and wood finishes and AC. The central location in the heart of Cala Gonone was perfect and close to the beach. The managers Franca and Pietro were gracious, friendly and very hard working.   the rooms were nice, so it was around the small pool, besauce there were not so many people and it was quiet. The tennis facilities were good, though you often had to waite in a line. The Beach was nice. - The little pool

  The staff were wonderfully accomodating and friendly. It's air-conditioned. Simple but comfortable. There are beaches in walking distance of the hotel but a car is a must if you want to get to some of the other great places around cala gonone. They also do self catering apartments which is what we had after our first night in bedrooms. We will go ... what people say » back to this hotel next time we go to cala gonone. - When we were hiking in the montains during the days, it was nice to stay at a calm and good hotel at the evening to a good price in a town with a lot of good restaurants for the evening. The town is wonderful with a fantastic view over the sea and the montains.

  Despite the desolate location ( which is what to expect when you book agriturismo) it is close to the town of Orosei, the beach and mountains. Apparently all food served for breakfast was home made (break, cake, butter, orange jam). Tasty!
