The website showed the hotel exactly as it is. The view is fantastic and the pool and the food! Would highly recommend the hotel for couples who are looking for an independent holiday. The staff were really friendly and helpfull too. wonderful courteous staff; excellent room; superb value especially if euro is better than €1.3 to £1. Even 1.2 exchange we have no complaints. Food and service excellent, staff cannot do enough for you. 10 out of 10.

Downside of the views was the walk up the hill from the town, not for the infirm.be aware that they balconies are not private. Some people would not like the steep walk down to the town (but noproblem for us). Air con in room not working and still not fixed after 2 days. It is not cheap, that is for sure. And a wireless or in-room Internet access would be a great plus.bad english from staff but this is common in Italy:). The climb up the hill in the hot sun or after a drink in thevillage at night!. Lack of variety of food at breakfast. You could here the people in the next room which was a little annoying.We had a corner room and the balcony was very small and cramped with only room for one chair, so both of us could not sit out together. Walk back from village up a very steep hill and no cushions on the sun loungers.The booked "prestige" room was all but prestigious: rather small, dark, contiguous, you can hear all neighbours, etc... Noisy rooms, receptionist hardly spoke english and took no effort to react/(or read?) on our emailed request. No help with lugage and for using the swimmingpool there was a €5 charge for a single towel (use of hotelroomtowel was not allowed); overpriced and little exclusivity as the management apparently deals with travelagencies (busloads).
