Although the roads to this hotel are narrow and difficult the location and the hotel itself are more than worth the effort to get there. The welcome was the most friendly experienced on this trip. The rooms, lounge etc. are presented beautifully and this a truly wonderful place for couples but not really suited to families with young children. Located near the funicolare this is definitely the best way to get in and out of Como. Leave the car in Brunate, use the funicolare. We loved our time h. all reviews »
The Villa is a beautiful old house which has been lovingly and tastefully restored and decorated in 2013. Kristina is a very friendly host. Great location with lovely veiws and only a short walk to the Funicular that takes you to Como. The breakfast was varied and overall good.
The option for wine and coffee (Nespresso) in the lounge was a nice touch, but one must pay.
Absolutely beautiful villa at a stunning location! The villa has been renovated this year with stylish decor. The hosts make you feel very welcome - it was like staying with family. We had an amazing room with a beautiful view over Lake Como and the mountains. Can't wait to go back!.

The coffee at breakfast was not from a machine but I think instant. When in Italy I would expect better coffee options at breakfast, e.g a cappuccino.
