Delightful hotel with great staff. Rooms are beautiful (flat screen tv, sofa, comfortable beds, spacious marble bathroom) and absolutely spotless. Common areas have sweetie bowls! The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with lovely, efficient staff. Excellent location, less than 10 mins walk to station and about the same into Bologna old town down a great shopping street! A wonderful stay.

We had one issue with a member of staff at reception. When we asked for details of nearby restaurants on our first night, she was quite rude and we ended up wasting a lot of time. However, when we asked another member of staff the following evening she was extremely friendly and helpful.High charge to use internet, when other Italian Hotles offer service free. a bit noisy from the road. Not really. Unless you're of the extremely fussy type, there is little to criticize about it. No available evening meal.Room was excellent in most regards. Though it was a non-smoking room,one could see that the wall covering was stained dark gray near the airducts, probably from old cigarette smoke from the days before no smokingrooms. However I must state that there was absolutely no cigarettesmell. At check in, one man at the front desk came off a bit "grumpy",but everyone else was very nice and helpful. No but sometimes we would have liked tea or coffee making facilities in the room. the bar prices seemed very high. bar closed very early if nobody in it. bed pillows. The magnetic keycard system for the room was faulty. On four diffrent occasions we had to get our cards reprogrammed before we could get into the room - this was very inconvenient, especially when arriving back late in the evening.Front desk staff not very helpful. Gave poor directions. Did not seem very interested in the guests. room was a bit hot - ?AC prob. Front desk individual was not friendly. some of reception staff didn't seem well informed about the services on offer (room service, internet connection) but staff in general were very pleasant and efficient. The hotel was comfortable and clean but the room perhaps in need of a bit of a facelift.
