Rooms have a traditional design with dark-wood furniture and plenty of natural light. They all have wood floors and either a private or shared bathroom. Some have a lake view. At Hotel Milano you will find a small bar and a terrace on the second floor. A buffet breakfast is available each morning. The hotel is 5 minutes' drive from Como. It is well connected by the A9 motorway and is 10 km from the Swiss border.

Lovely historical Albergo overlooking Lake Como. Antique furniture throughout and lots of period features make you feel like stepping back in time, very romantic! The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful and even let us keep our car in her private garage overnight due to it being fully loaded with holiday luggage and 2 bikes on the roof! Breakfast was also good for this category hotel including home made blueberry cake, very tasty! Highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay .

Near the shore of lake Como, with good views from the window. Done in a retro 1920 style. Excellent breakfast and very helpfull people. The view from our room on the lake was really perfect. The breakfast was verny nice, friendly lady and there is a terras. Room with the balcony had an amazing view, we appreciated being able to use the terrace to have our dinner on. Great breakfast, comfortable bedroom with large bed, friendly welcome, splendid lake view from room. personal service,magnificent surroundings and nature and original house and furniture. Marina was very nice. The hotel has been in her family for many many years. Lake Como is beautiful as were views from the room. Breakfast was very good. We went to Bellagio for the day which was fun!. The room was pretty big and very nicely decorated. The hotel had a very nice and cozy atmosphere. It has a big terrace from which you have a great view of the lake. Low price, being able to park in the hotels' garage because there was no parking space left nearby. - Location. It in a little town with nothing in it (except 1 resteraunt and 1 small mini-market) - The roads on the way from como are scary to drive. narrow twisted road. Could be a little noisy (on the road from Como to Bellagio - very close to Como). There was a wifi connection, but the owner told me on two occasions that it was not for public use. So that was a bit frustrating knowing it was there but I couldn't use it. No lift, but the lake view worth the effort :). This is not a tourist spot! There is no place to eat as ristorante close early. Signage in Como is lacking making it difficult to find (even with a GPS). We slept really badly because the hotel is situated at the main street and it felt as if all the cars and trucks were driving right through our room. It is also very inconvenient to make the guests leave at 10am in the morning. We didn't know that we had to order our breakfast in advance, so we left the hotel at 9.30 without having eaten anything. It felt a little bit as if we were kicked out of the house. accomodation on the road side, noisy!. The room smelled a little moldy, the heating did not work and the bed was hard like a rock. For us - soft bed and hotness lovers - this meant a sleepless night. Not so much fun when you have to drive ten hours back home.
