The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was good...the shower and all the facilities worked well. The hotel was in a very good location for the lower city and I liked that we were in that area buut near enough to walk to the citti alta. We would come back to Hotel Arli again. The breakfast was excellent.

Unavoidable, but unfortunate for me.Paying to park a motorbike and also building works during our stay. The tv selection was a bit poor, with only one english language channel and everything else was in italian or german.the reception area is very basic and gives a very 'cold' first impression, however it may be in the process of refurbishment. The ongoing noise from churchbells next door!. breakfast- no big choice. Services and facilities only marked fair bercause renovation work being carried out - therefore no lift etc. I enjoyed my stay - however I was expecting a no-smoking room and somebody had definitely smoked in it previously. There is bus station just in front of the hotel thus a bit crowded , noisy and not so clean .Breakfast selection was minimal and there were absolutely no efforts made to replenish empty food containers. If asked, sometimes additional food was available.There was no bar or currency change facility.Also at the time we stayed there were noises due to building work on the hotel and the main lift was not working. (small problems). Breakfast was continental and not american as advertised.
