La sorgente is a grate place!! the rooms are very comfterbole and neat. breakfest was grate with home made food and a plesent atmpsphire. the location was grate and very close to the madin attrections. i recomend the room with the view to the lake. we got good recomandations about thing to do and the resturants in the area where we found good italian food. The place located in front of Maggiore lake – fantastic view ! Amazing place !

Fantastic hosts, wonderful breakfasts, personal attention to anything we wanted, and a fantastic location and view of Lake Maggiore from every room. Just wonderful. Francesco and Ricardo were the finest hosts you could hope for. They made our stay at their home a truly memorable experience. I hope to meet them again.Francesca and Riccardo were excellent hosts. The breakfast was the best we have had in Europe and the view from our balcony was fabulous!!!. the hostess made the place extra special. The breakfast was the best we've experienced in BandB's. The owners are very kind and helpful. The garden, the environment, thebuilding and the breakfast are also excellent. very good value for money , lovely homey atmosphere , excellent breakfast and service. Without their recommendations we would have missed out on a lot of what Stresa had to offer. (1) Great view to the lake from the terrace (our view had a side window also with a nice view). (3) Convenient location with short walk to Baveno center and short ride to Stresa center.Parking was really tricky with BandB right on the road. Our room was not the best in the bandb, rather small and not veryromantic.Should not be referred as "hotel" but rather - rooms for BandB. The breakfast was below average, not as good as what other reviews suggests. Room had a faintly stale smell. Clean rooms but not for romantic getaway.(1) Breakfast quantity and quality didn't match reviews from previous guests; based on other experiences with BandB we were expecting much better breakfast. (2) Despite the great view, noisy location with main road in the front and train rail in the back. (3) Not enough parking places and difficult to park in the main road. (4) A bit expensive for the services/quality provided.
