  Just returned from our Sardinian holidays, after a full week at La Jacia. The real value of this hotel is its location and the helpfulness of the staff. About 10-15min walk from the 'center' of Baja Sardinia with plenty of bars and restorants, a supermarket right next to it, and a very short drive to the best beaches of Costa Smeralda. The hotel is very beautiful, with a confortable rooms (I absolutely recomend superior room with terrace!) The area is excellent, with nature, good beaches, good people, the town very clean....;) In the swimming pool area there are places to sun tan and you can enjoy and relax if you dont want to go out the hotel.   Hotel villa Gemella is a true gem, ideally located within walking distance from a charming village with a lot of restaurants. A super market, a cafe and some shops are right across the street if you want to get a quick snack, coffee or fruit.   Very friendly staff. The best reception briefing on the local area and its attractions we have ever had. Food was good and service excellent. Super location near to attractive estuary. Swimmers pool and decent paddling pool. A good 9 out of 10. Hotel is not a beach centred venue but does provide a free shuttle bus to the main local resort.
