  Great owners - we got lost and they picked us up from Asciano at 11 pm and arranged for a nearby restaurant to wait for us so that we could still have dinner. (the restaurant itself was amazing!!). We were welcomed with a lot of genuine hospitality but the owners are also very discreet and full of empathy, so if you need peace and quiet they will ... what people say » not impose. Lovely breakfast (very rare in Italy!) with local products - cheese and charcuterie and home cakes. The place itself is great - calm and q - Our stay there far exceeded our expectations. The setting is just superb. The accommodation was great. The personal touch was very apparent and greatly appreciated. Antonietta, Sara and Lucia were very kind and caring. They provided home made breakfasts, recommended places to visit, helped us resolve an issue we had regarding a family celebration being held locally.It was a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to reccommend to others.   We stayed one week in Il Poderino with an 2 year old child and it was magnificent. We loved the view and paecefull caracter. We had a groundfloor appartment with private garden. Lovely!   What a gorgeous little place! We booked last minute and it was such fun! Just steps from a gorgeous little town (and we were there for a market that the owners told us about) and on a walking trail. We got a lovely little bottle of jam when we arrived which was consumed immediately. There is a stream that runs by the house with a small waterfall which also helps to create a ambient of tranquillity
