Vita Serena has recently renovated rooms and a fantastic location just a
couple of steps from the beach. (Try to book a room with a sea view when
available.) Excellent price for a hotel practically on the beach. The
public space in front of the the hotel has been updated and traffic is
limited so it's safe and nice and quiet. The Hotel restaurant was
closed but for dinner try Napolitano (left under the tunnel then 100
mtrs right). Great food (and pizza) at good prices.
We visited the hotel in dec so we were the only guests there. All was very very nice, beautiful location and very nice and clean rooms. Service with a smile and lovely breakfast. We would deft go back.
Great place to stay right by the beach, Renato, the owner, is friendly
and helpful. Rooms are calm, clean, secure and comfortable in the annex
where we stayed. Breakfast was delicious!.
The owner was a real gentleman. Went out of his way to assist us at any given time. Very nice food at the nearby restaurants. Excellent location for sport activities.

Too many touters in the neighbourhood. It was tiring to say 'no' almost every 5 minutes to people who wants to sell you roses, sunglasses or hats in the restaurants and beach.
With such a location what can you moan but if I try. Typical Italian
breakfast, but good capuccino! With the traffic limitations you can only
get to the hotel by car in the mornings. After that you have to lug your
baggage a couple of hundred meters from the public parking - down the
traffic free road - to the hotel.
Public parking can be a little difficult but with advice from Renato was
soon sorted.
Due to road works and possible location near the beach, difficult to get
close with a car to unload suitcases. However, the owner offered to
carry them and was extreemly helpfull.
