The staff at the Argegno Hotel were very courteous, friendly helpful and delightful, service was great and we were made to feel as part of the family. Positioned Lakeside on main road opposite ferry terminal, bus stop right in front of the hotel. Next door is the Piazza surrounded by Cafe's, Restaurant's and public Parking, the hotel room was comfortable very clean with lake views from the balcony. An extensive menu to choose from and reasonably priced. Very good value for bed and breakfast.
all reviews » Very friendly staff, it was not only a hotel, it was a cafe, and a very good restaurant. Good location overlooking Lake Como, several restaurants and bars within 2 minutes walk. Good, public, payable parking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we had a great view of the lake from our room balcony. Excellent Resteraunt, friendly staff, great central location, across road from ferry terminal. superb location, in the middle of the little village, across the street from the lake. Great location, nice staff, clean room, the restaurant is also quite good. Loved the location ,food was great. Rooms were lovely. Great location in village and close to bus stops. Due to the busy road in front of the hotel, it's pretty noisy. Only small complaint I have was shower wasn't very hot . Little English known by staff. Small rooms. Quality of the beds was not great. Not much selection on breakfast. no privet parking. Very Noisy, road noise, children playing on stairs, adults shouting in corridors, furniture being moved around constantly in room above. The last time I stayed here it was great with no extraordinary noise other than the road noise, I would stay here again and hope that the activity here this time was a one off. They must invest in airconditions in the hotel rooms , especially in those temperatures during summer. Difficult to find paking space too noisy through the night because of the traffic and people keep drinking overnight at the pub right next to the hotel. you can block the noise by closing the balcony doors but then the room become too hot. The room suffered very badly from street noise - it was very hard to sleep. The staff were sullen and not at all friendly. There are very many beter options on this stretch of Lake Como. There is no air-conditioning! The noise from the road is terrible!.
